NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — While Metro detectives were serving a warrant, the man they were trying to serve tried to run over those detectives. Those detectives are OK.

The detective knew the suspect, Ryan Bowden, had outstanding warrants for his arrest. They saw him in the driver's seat of a Ford Flex in a Donelson Hill neighborhood. Bowden then backed up his SUV and sped forward towards one of the detectives while he was standing outside the police car. He had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by the car. A second detective was still in the driver's seat as Bowden rammed the front of the car.

After detectives handcuffed him, they searched his car. That search led to finding 15 pills, 55 grams of heroin, and 444 grams of meth.
Bowden admitted to driving to Atlanta to get those drugs.

He has five charges totaling a bond of $155,000.
