GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Sumner County Mayor Anthony Holt extended the county's mask mandate until September 30.
Under the order, which was issued in the beginning of July, residents must wear a face covering while in public and when social distancing is not an option.
Mayor Holt made the extension Friday - the same day Governor Bill Lee signed order extension of multiple COVID-19 precautions including Executive Order 54, which gives county mayors the authority to issue mask mandates.
