Nashville Mayor Megan Barry posted a statement on social media, speaking out on immigration as it relates to Trump and his potential policies.
She tweeted a statement clarifying the role Metro Police will play in the future.
Barry said in part:
"Our police officers are not immigration police. They do not ask about immigration status during stops or conversation with the public nor do they intend to start now."
