The identity of a driver accused of assaulting a woman during a medical transportation ride has been released.

The victim told Murfreesboro Police officers that the driver of her "One Call" ride to a doctor’s appointment assaulted her.

Lulseged Wakjira was charged with rape after he allegedly told the woman that he was a licensed massage therapist.

The victim told police he said he could help her medical issues with a massage which she consented to, but she said he then undressed and sexually assaulted her.

Wakjira is also an employee of the state, working for the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

NewsChannel 5 reached out to the state, who said Wakjira was working at a second job when the incident happened, and that the victim was not one of the patients with disabilities they serve.
