A memorial service has been set in honor of Former Tennessee State University track coach Ed Temple.
The event was scheduled for 11 a.m. in the Kean Hall Gymnasium at TSU.
All classes and meetings on campus were canceled from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. that day.
Temple was the longtime coach of the Tigerbells as well as a former head coach for the U.S. track and field Olympic team.
He died last week at the age of 89.
