Team of Armed Robbery Suspects Target Smyrna Victims

Smyrna Police say they need your help to find a team of thieves working together in the mid-state -- targeting their victims and the robbing them at gunpoint, even pistol-whipping one of them

Smyrna police say four people -- two men, two women -- have been on the run for weeks.

Back on July 4, the two women lured two male victims up to their hotel room at the La Quinta Inn, where the two male victims then robbed them at gunpoint.
 
The four suspects then left together, leaving the victims behind.


Police say they have received multiple reports of similar incidents happening in some surrounding counties, and they warn that the group could be planning another attack at any time.

Police say they worry that some people may have been robbed by this group who may not have reported it, but they say its important they know of every incident where this team may have been working together.

Detectives asked anyone with that could help police catch the suspects who are said to possibly armed and dangerous to call Smyrna police.
