A Country Music Icon, Merle Haggard, has announced that he will be coming back to Music City.
Haggard announced a two night concert series at the Ryman Auditorium. It will be held on March 8th and 9th.
The 78-year-old singer has been battling pneumonia. This will be Haggard's first Nashville show since his representatives pulled the plug on his second "Ink and Iron" concert appearance in August.
They said promoters did not make good on their contract. Tickets for the Ryman show go on sale Friday morning at 10.
