A 15-year-old was charged with carrying a gun at Hunters Lane High School .
When police arrived at the student’s classroom, they and school staff saw that the student's right hand was inside the pocket of his hoodie
After the student refused multiple commands to remove his hand from the pocket, Officer James Boone grabbed his hand inside the jacket before removing the gun.
It was loaded with six rounds, one in chamber and five in the magazine.
The 15-year-old claimed to have found the gun and said he had it for protection in his neighborhood. The student was taken to juvenile detention and charged with carrying a gun on school property.
