Nashville Mayor Megan Barry announced the city’s cold weather response plan as another round of wintry weather and dangerously cold temperatures move into the area.
Barry tweeted that every shelter has increased capacity and said no one would be turned away.

The Room In The Inn would be open all day Monday and the Nashville Rescue Mission has extended hours.
An overflow shelter would also be opened. That information is expected to be released during the afternoon hours.
Barry encouraged the use of existing shelters to help ensure that overflow beds are available.
