Metro students put on their favorite Disney musicals at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center as a part of the TPAC Education's Disney Musicals in Schools program.
The kids, from 23 different schools, have been rehearsing for weeks to put together today's showcase.
So naturally, they were a little nervous, but it was the big crowd that put one of the students at ease.
"I was a little nervous until I saw how many people were out there, but until I said my first line I was like, eh, nah,” said Mikahya Demoss.
The program and performance was a result of a grant from the CMA Foundation.
DMIS chose TPAC and Metro Schools as their first program performed outside of New York City.
