NASHVILLE, Tenn. – While the Rolling Stones rocked the house Wednesday night at LP Field, the band's legendary front man took time to visit the Parthenon before the show.
Mick Jagger spent some of the afternoon exploring Nashville and took a tour of the Parthenon.
Sylvia Rapoport, a life-long Stones fan and now the President of the Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park, accompanied the rock legend on his tour.
Rapoport said as always, he was nothing short of amazing.
"I have to admit he knew more than any visitor I have ever seen here," she said. “It's not often that someone comes knowing more about mythology than we do.”
In addition to taking in some of the beauty and history of Nashville, Jagger signed a guitar for the conservancy to auction off.
The rocker also took to social media and tweeted out pictures of his visit.
