The Millersville Police Chief David Hindman has been fired and a sergeant second in command resigned shortly after.
According to Millersville City Manager Caryn Miller Hindman was fired for several reasons, but would not go into detail of what they were.
Sgt. John Brown, who was second in command, resigned after Chief Hindman was let go.
Miller said, "Bottom line this was a very difficult decision to make, but one that I had to. At this point, we are moving forward and our service to the community has not changed."
The city was currently in the process of looking for a replacement as chief.
