CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Cheatham County man, who was reported missing two days ago, has been found deceased, according to his family.
The body of 52-year-old Keith Harris was found inside his truck, his family said in a statement Thursday. The Harris family released the news through their church in Joelton.
Harris was last seen around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, at his residence on Sweet Home Road.
Harris, a local businessman, was described by locals as being a prominent member of the community.
No additional details were immediately known.
The family's statement read in full:
"We received news this morning that Keith was found in his truck. We wanted Keith to be back home with us, but God had a better plan. We sincerely appreciate all of our family and friends with prayers and support during this time. Our family needs time to grieve; so we are asking for limited visitors. We love all of you and need your prayers more now than ever."
