NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Country singer Tracy Lawrence is holding his yearly "Mission Possible" turkey fry at the Nashville Rescue Mission in downtown Nashville.
This marks the 14th year of the event. Some 60 fryers will cook 500 turkeys that will help provide 5,000 to 6,000 meals. Lawrence says for him, this is the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season.
“It’s the most special day of the year for me,” he says.
Tuesday night, Lawrence will hold his Mission Possible charity concert at the Wildhorse Saloon.
