Metro Nashville Police officers marked Passover by beginning their service of collecting food items during the holiday.
Passover began at sunset. Those of the Jewish faith, began observing the religious holiday which will last for eight days.
During Passover, worshippers rid their cabinets of products using five specific grains.
And for the past 22 years, the Metro Police Department has worked with the West End Synagogue to take ownership of those products and keep them safe until Passover ends.
Rabbi Joshua Kullock joined Metro Police at comp-stat this morning to thank police for all they do.
