A Murfreesboro mom was arrested after police said she left her baby alone in a car while she shopped.
A police report said a man parked next to the car at the Stones River Mall noticed a baby inside.
He waited a few minutes without seeing an adult return, and then called police.
That's when the mother, Sarah Burks, returned to the car telling officers she was only away for 20 minutes.
However, store surveillance cameras showed she was shopping for nearly an hour. Her court date was set for July.
