Mother Of TBI Most Wanted Fugitive Found Dead After His Arrest

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – A man on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive list has been arrested in the shooting death of a Fayetteville man, and authorities said the fugitive's mother has been found dead.

Officials said 29-year-old Michael Domonic Sales was taken into custody Sunday on Dover Street in Shelbyville.

Monday morning, authorities confirmed Sales' mother Angela Sales, also known as Angela Kibble, was found dead of an apparent homicide in the 800 block of Belmont Avenue in Shelbyville.

No further details of Angela Sales' homicide were available. Authorities said the investigation remained active.

Michael Sales was wanted for the homicide of Carlton Capone Caruth in Fayetteville September 6.

He has been booked in the Lincoln County Jail.
