A motorcyclist has been taken to an area hospital after a crash in west Nashville.
The collision happened before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on Charlotte Pike at American Drive.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said a car was pulling out of the Park West at Hillwood apartments when the driver struck a woman on a motorcycle.
She was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with two broken legs.
The scene has since cleared.
It’s not known if the motorist would face any charges in the crash.
