MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Mt. Juliet city employee has tested positive for the new coronavirus.
The city said the employee is self-isolating at home and was last at work on March 27.
All city hall employees have been instructed not to return to work until April 6.
Essential operations by the city will continue, but there may be some disruption in other city services. City staff members who can work remotely are doing so, but the Finance, City Beautification, Planning and Zoning, Building Codes and Human Resources departments will be affected.
The city said a professional cleaning service was called to deep clean and sanitize city hall.
