MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Red-light cameras have once again been placed in the spotlight in Murfreesboro.
Thursday night, the city council discussed extending the contract with the camera company through March of next year.
The cameras have been used for catching drivers who run the red-light.
Murfreesboro started using them in 2008, and last year the cameras generated more than $140,000 for the city.
