MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — Murfreesboro City Schools added asynchronous learning days to next week's schedule ahead of Thanksgiving due to COVID-19 quarantines.

Murfreesboro City School officials made the announcement Friday. More information can be found here.

Several Middle Tennessee school districts are closing for the whole week of Thanksgiving. By extending their Thanksgiving holiday break to include Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nove. 24, students and staff are given more time to isolate from COVID-19 contacts.
