The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been called in to investigate an alleged sexual assault involving an off-duty Murfreesboro Police officer.
TBI officials confirmed the alleged incident was reported Saturday at MTSU's football stadium.
Murfreesboro Police identified him as Officer Mark Todd. Investigators said he was off-duty at the time.
Todd has been placed on decommissioned status, pending the outcome of the investigation.
The investigation remained ongoing and was in preliminary stages.
