The Murfreesboro Police Department is officially operating out of the new headquarters.
Operations began on Monday at the building, which houses a new 911 Communications Center, state-of-the-art Crime and Forensics Lab, and a virtual training room.
The new headquarters is located on North Highland Avenue.
The previous headquarters on South Church Street will no longer be accessible to the public.
