Rutherford County fire crews responded to a structure fire early Monday morning on Couchville Pike. The huge fire response impacted traffic in the area, and even caused some delays for school buses.
The fire happened at 8038 Couchville Pike at about 5:00am Monday, and was put out by 7:40am.
Investigators originally said the fire involved a propane tank, but later said the tank wasn't involved.
NewsChannel5 has learned the family who lives there got out safely.
The response to the fire led to the shut down of Couchville Pike. Rutherford County Fire Rescue said the closure is affecting school traffic nearby. Anyone who could, was asked to avoid the area.
