NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — NASCAR has announced plans to move its Champions Week and the Monster Energy Cup Series Awards to Nashville.
The ceremony is set for Thursday, December 5 at the Music City Center. The series champion will be crowned during the red-carpet event.

NASCAR.com reports that fans should expect more access than ever before.
This is just one of the major sporting events taking place this year in Music City. In late April, the NFL Draft will take over downtown.
