Posted

The city of Nashville and Mars Petcare partnered together to make Music City pet-friendly.

Thursday's announcement was made among some of the cutest pups and dogs from the Nashville Humane Society. The partnership was made in hopes of making Nashville one of the "Better cities for pets."

A push will be made for more regional dog parks, and come September, the Nashville Farmers market will become pet friendly.

There are thousands of pet owners throughout the area.

The mayor also announced that One City is building a new dog park. It will feature an agility obstacle area, a splash pad and hydration station.
