Nashville International Airport will break ground on its new Concourse D.
The groundbreaking is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday and is part of the airport’s expansion plan, aptly called BNA Vision.
Late last year, airport officials released renderings for the plan that includes a renovated terminal and new plaza, hotel, and transit station for light rail.
More than 13 million people travel in and out of BNA today – that number has been expected to exceed 23 million by 2041.
