Dozens of businesses participated in "Parking Day" along lower Broadway in downtown Nashville.
The event allowed vendors to set up tents so that tourists and locals could stop by to relax, play games, or even listen to music.
It's known as "Parking Day" since the businesses set up where drivers normally park their cars along the road.
The national and annual event worked to make that parking lane a little 'greener.'
"It's to create urban spots within urban areas - to remind us that we can take a creak out of our day," said Brian Storrs with Juice Bar.
Broadway wasn't the only place taking part in Parking Day, other neighborhoods did so as well, including the Gulch.
