NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Nashville Christmas Parade will be virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parade officials made the announcing Tuesday morning, saying the 93rd annual event will take place on Saturday, December 5, but in a virtual format.
The parade will feature virtual performances and celebrity appearances. A lineup has not yet been released.
In lieu of a grand marshal, health care workers on the front line of the pandemic will be spotlighted as “Hometown Heroes.”
