Nashville fitness coach trying 52 gyms in 52 weeks, taking the guesswork out of various workouts

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Starting a new type of fitness can be daunting, even intimidating. Now, there's a personal trainer who's willing to try -- just about anything -- to help you find the perfect fit.

Nick Carrier is a personal trainer and Lifestyle Entrepreneur who is taking on 52 gyms in 52 weeks.

"Luckily I do enjoy basically all sorts of health and wellness and fitness. So it’s really been a great experience for me," he said.

Carrier says he thinks of himself like human Yelp! or ClassPass, giving reviews post-workout and taking the mystery out of the various gyms.

So far, he's is on week 12 of 52.

"Anywhere from Tiltcycle to Orange Theory, great high-intensity interval training places," he said.

Carrier says he's trying classes for all levels, for men and women, and hopes to take the guesswork out of the workout.
