We all have that person on our list. The one that is just impossible to shop for. Now, Nashville Flight Training said the best gift this holiday season could be the gift of flight.

The training starts by talking to the tower. The 21-year old flight instructor, Mariah Ferber has been flying since she was 16-years-old. First she inspects the plane, then it's time to fly.

"The first time you go up in a plane like this it's a little intimidating," said Nashville Flight Training President, Chris Erlanson.

Erlanson said people take to the air for all sorts of reasons.

"We have people come through that want to go the professional pilot route. We have people who want to utilize aircraft in their business. Then, of course, we have those folks that maybe they've thought about flying before. They've looked up at the sky seen an airplane go overhead and said, 'That'd be cool to do one day,'" he said.

According to the flight school, aspiring pilots can take the controls of an airplane, under the watchful eye of a certified flight instructor, as they fly over Nashville.

Nashville flight is offering its Discovery Flight at a special price of $99 through December 24.
