NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight headed to Las Vegas were deplaned in Nashville after a woman refused to comply with COVID-19 restrictions, according to the Nashville International Airport (BNA).

The woman refused to wear a mask, and became argumentative. Because she wouldn't follow instructions from Southwest Airlines employees, she was denied boarding; however, she refused to exit the plane.

At Southwest Airlines' request, a BNA officer was dispatched to the plane just after 9 a.m. to help resolve the situation.

All of the passengers who were on board were deplaned. Afterwards, BNA officers escorted the woman from the craft to a Southwest gate. She was then escorted to the non-secure side of the airport.
