NASHVILLE, Tenn (WTVF) — The owner of a Nashville limousine company doesn't want to hear any excuses on why people couldn't get to the polls to vote in this election year. So he's giving voters a ride in style so that they can easily practice their right to vote.

Shaun Gaffney owns Judah Elite Travel and Transportation. It's the car service used for weddings, corporate events and parties. But this year, the company is adding another big event to its services - the election.

"This is a very important event. It don't matter if you're voting for Republican, Democrat or whatever, we just want to make sure you're exercising your right to vote," Gaffney said.

Gaffney says anyone in need of a ride to their polling place can get there in style for free. No matter what part of Nashville someone's coming from, he'll make sure to get them to the polls for free.

"You have to pivot during the pandemic and during this time I feel like it’s my constitutional duty, it’s the least I can do for my community, said Gaffney"

From now until November 3, a limo, SUV, or van will be shuttling voters to and from the polls.

"We wanted to get out there and make sure that they have no excuses but your voice and your voice is to vote," explained Gaffney.

He says even if just one person takes advantage of this opportunity he knows it was worth it in the end. Anyone in need of a ride to the polls can call Judah Elite Travel and Transportation at 615-939-1416.
