It's part science fair, part county fair, and part something completely new. The Nashville Mini Maker Faire kicked off Saturday at Vanderbilt University.
The annual event has been described as a festival of "invention, creativity, and resourcefulness,” bringing out crafters, hobbyists, tech enthusiasts, and more.
It's an opportunity for folks to show off their creations, whether it be projects of woodworking, robotics, or 3D printing.
"Everybody here is making something unique, and I like to see what everybody came up with and how similar it is to stuff I came up with or how unique it is and what I can learn from everybody else,” said Azeem Husain.
The Mini Maker Faire was scheduled to continue from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday.
