Orion is a beautiful dog. Just not in this picture.

"His picture is terrible. It’s blurry. You can’t see his face," said Adian Budnick.

Budnick is a photographer. She says give her a few minutes, a closet-size room, and a few treats and she can transform a "pound puppy" into an adoptable friend.

"And that’s what I like to do. Make dogs especially, Pitt Bulls, look like we’re going to have the best time together," she said.

She calls her business Puptography and volunteers her time at Metro Animal Care and Control.

It's not an easy gig. Getting them to smile pretty for the camera takes all sorts of patience.

"Dogs have this weird thing where they think the camera is going to steal their souls sometimes. And they don’t want anything to do with it," she said.
