The Nashville Zoo made a scientific breakthrough with the birth of the first clouded leopard to be born from frozen artificial insemination.
The baby leopard was the first of its species and in the world to be born by the using technique.
The little guy weighed less than half a pound when it was born Wednesday. He is being kept in an incubator and gets fed every three hours.
Zoo officials said these animals are rare out in the wild, and difficult to breed in captivity; so being able to have this successful procedure could help preserve future animals of its kind.
The leopard hasn't been named yet.
