Nashville Zoo Seeks Help Naming Red Panda Cubs

Posted

The Nashville Zoo has asked the public’s help in naming its two new red panda cubs.

You can cast your vote online by visiting the zoo’s website. The contest ends on September 30.

There are three pairs of names:

  • Option 1 - Kiaria & Misa
  • Option 2 - Rumi & Suri
  • Option 3 - Limbu & Narra

Zoo officials said the cubs were born on June 16. The winning names will be announced when the cubs make their exhibit debut, which is expected in October.

All donations will go to the Red Panda Network. The zoo had a naming contest in 2014 for their previous red panda cub, Phayara. That contest raised $1,048.16 for the Red Panda Network.
