Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Sunday chose to spread a message after his game, but one unrelated to the world of football.
Instead, Rodgers chose to send a message of solidarity and acceptance, despite a fan’s unexpected remark during a moment of silence for victims of Friday’s terror attacks in Paris, held before the game.

During what was supposed to be a somber period of remembrance, one Packers fan yelled, “Muslims suck!"
With class, Rodgers addressed the offensive remark in a post-game interview. He said, “ I think it's important to do things like that. We're a connected world — six degrees of separation. I must admit that I was very disappointed with the fan who made the comment. I thought it was really inappropriate during the moment of silence.”
“It's that kind of prejudicial ideology that, I think, puts us in the position that we're in today as a world,” he continued.
