Gerber is recalling pouches of organic baby food due to a packaging defect that could cause the product to spoil.

The company is recalling 3.5 ounce packages of “2nd Foods” organic baby food, including Pears, Carrots & Peas flavor as well as the Carrots, Apples and Mangoes flavor.

Gerber says that affected packages could be bloated and have an off-putting taste or odor. Affected products will also have the following UPC and batch codes.

UPC 15000074319 with batch codes 12JUL2016 51945335XX or 13JUL 2016 51955335XX

UPC 15000074395 with batch codes 13JUL2016 51955335XX or 14JUL2016 51965335XX

Customers with the affected products are encouraged to call the Gerber Parents Resource Center at 1-800-706-0556 for a replacement coupon.
