Nashville Electric crews worked to restore power to thousands of customers after several outages early Friday morning.
At their worst, the two main outages reported affected about 2,500 customers in the Madison area, and 3,500 customers in the area east of the airport.
Power was nearly restored by about 7:00a.m.
We have not determined the causes of the outages yet.
