WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Nashville firefighter is facing assault charges after an incident in Mt. Juliet March 31.
John Judkins, 45, is charged with aggravated and domestic assault.
Judkins has been with Nashville Fire Department since 2013.
Fire officials say they are aware of the charges against Judkins and say he will be advised of his duty schedule when he returns from previously scheduled leave.
"The arrest of Firefighter Judkins should not reflect on the other more than 1,200 personnel who serve the residents and visitors of Nashville with pride,” said NFD Public Information Officer Joseph Pleasant in a statement Friday evening.
