NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fire crews said a home was a complete loss after a fire broke out in the middle of the night.
The fire happened just after midnight early Saturday morning in the 400 block of Tuckahoe Drive.
Fire fighters said flames were shooting from the home when they arrived on scene.
Three residents and three cats were all safe and accounted for, but officials said the home was a total loss.
The fire took more than an hour to get under control, and according to those with the fire department, crews had to contend with dual roofing that hindered their attack on the flames.
The fire was possibly caused by an electrical problem, but the fire marshal has been called in to investigate.
