A Metro Nashville Police officer shot and killed a dog, that was attacking him.
Officials said it happened at a home around 9:30 a.m. at 2172 Riverway Drive in Old Hickory.
The off-duty police officer shot the dog because it was "aggressively attacking the officer."
Details of who owned the dog, or what led up to the attack were unclear.
