One arrested after shot fired at Metro police officer in Antioch

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person was arrested overnight after at least one gunshot was fired at a Metro Nashville police officer in Antioch.

The shooting happened just before midnight Tuesday on Old Franklin Road, near Interstate 24.

Officers were called to the area to look into another matter when they say someone fired at an officer.

The person was arrested. No one was hurt. No additional information was immediately available.
