Metro Nashville Police officers have responded to a shooting on Lutie Street in South Nashville.
The incident happened around 5:26 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, two people in a car noticed people fighting on the side of the street, and shots were fired.
The passenger of the vehicle was shot, and suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver continued driving to the East Thompson Lane Kroger before calling police.
The victim was expected to survive, but the investigation into who pulled the trigger was ongoing.
