Families of homicide victims made ornaments for Nashville's annual "Season to Remember,” and they hung those creations on a tree in memory of their loved ones.
The annual “Season to Remember” was held Thursday night, and the ornaments were hung on a tree in the Children's Garden at Centennial Park.
Metro Police Sergeant Robert Weaver placed an ornament in honor of Officer Eric Mumaw who died earlier in 2017 saving a woman from drowning.
The ornament making and memorial service has helped families ensure that their loved ones aren't forgotten during the chaotic holiday season.
