A Flash Flood Advisory was issued for several counties as rain moved through the mid-state.
In areas north of Interstate 40 some areas, including Humphreys and Dickson Counties, saw 1-3 inches of rain overnight, which caused flooding.
There weren't any serious damage reports, but homeowners saw enough high water to cause concern.
According to NewsChannel 5 Meteorologist Lelan Statom, a cold front is expected to push the rain out of the area, leaving only scattered showers.
