NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Coronavirus has prompted China officials to shut down the production of some consumer goods, reaching to United States and even Tennessee.

The deadly strain of the Coronavirus has killed more than 2,000 people and infected another 76,000.

With China shutting halting productions, on things like phones and cars, countries like the U.S. could see delays in receiving those items or possible price increases.

The group TN-China Network hosted a panel Thursday night to discuss how we might experience these impacts firsthand. It included business professionals, economic professors and medical professional.

The panel said even if business immediately resumed normal production, products would still face weeks-long delays.
