Officials with the Lebanon Police Department have warned neighbors of a report made on a suspicious man.
A concerned parent called police after their daughter said a man tried to force her into a car.
The parent told police the man approached his daughter at their home in the area of Sam Houston Drive and Marks Circle.
They said he was driving a gray Chevy 4-door vehicle when he stopped to ask the little girl for directions.
She told him she wasn't allowed to talk to strangers, but he continued to follow her, and told her to get in his car.
He eventually drove off, saying he'd come back for her.
Officers were unable to locate anyone fitting the description at the time of report. An incident report was made.
