Parents lined up in the cold for the Last Minute Toy Store hoping to make their kids' Christmas a special one.
The shop at 61st Avenue United Methodist Church was busy the minute it opened its doors.
Thursday marked the toy drive's 23rd year.
The Last Minute Toy Store is a chance for Davidson County parents and guardians to shop for free gifts for their children.
Tickets will be distributed for three nights at the church. People must have a ticket to participate in the shop.
To get a ticket, a photo ID and proof that you live in Davidson County are required.
Also, something showing their child's name and date of birth and proof of income, like a pay stub are required.
